  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour for dough
  • 1/3 cup Water adjust as needed for soft dough
  • 1 cup Grated paneer fresh and soft
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Oil or ghee for roasting

  • Tawa
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Add whole wheat flour to a bowl. Slowly add water and knead into a soft dough. Rest it for 10 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix grated paneer, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder and salt.
  3. Divide the dough into two balls. Roll one dough ball into a small disc.
  4. Place a generous spoon of paneer stuffing in the center. Bring the edges together and seal tightly.
  5. Gently roll the stuffed dough into a medium-sized paratha.
  6. Heat a tawa and cook the paratha on both sides until golden brown. Apply a little ghee or oil while cooking.
  7. Repeat with the second dough ball. Serve hot with curd or pickle.

Notes

Use fresh paneer for best taste. Adjust spices based on your preference. Whole wheat flour makes the paratha healthier and easy to digest.
