  • 6 pieces Fresh amla (Indian gooseberries) medium-sized
  • 1 cup Water adjust as needed
  • 1 tbsp Honey or jaggery optional for sweetness
  • 1 tsp Ginger grated, optional
  • 1 pinch Black salt optional

Method
 

  1. Wash the amla well and pat them dry.
  2. Cut each amla into small pieces and remove the seeds.
  3. Add chopped amla, ginger, and water to a blender.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Strain the mixture using a fine strainer to get clear juice.
  6. Mix in honey or jaggery and a pinch of black salt.
  7. Serve fresh or chill for 30 minutes.

Notes

Drink immediately for maximum vitamin C benefits. You can also adjust the thickness by increasing or reducing water.
