  • 1/4 cup Chia seeds
  • 1 cup Coconut milk (thin or medium-thick) unsweetened preferred
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1–2 tsp Honey or jaggery powder adjust as per taste
  • 1 pinch Black pepper helps turmeric absorption
  • 2 tbsp Fresh coconut or chopped nuts for topping

Method
 

  1. Add chia seeds, coconut milk, turmeric, sweetener, and black pepper to a mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk well so the chia seeds don’t clump together.
  3. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes, then stir again to ensure even soaking.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until thick and creamy.
  5. Stir once before serving and top with fresh coconut or chopped nuts.

Notes

For a richer taste, use thick coconut milk. You can also add cardamom for extra flavour.
