
Sweet Potato & Black Bean Burger
A healthy Indian-style Sweet Potato and Black Bean Burger packed with fibre, protein, and warm spices. Easy, tasty, and perfect for a light meal.

- Add mashed sweet potato, black beans, oats, onion, and all spices to a mixing bowl.
- Mix well until the mixture comes together. If it’s too soft, add 1–2 tbsp more oats.
- Shape the mixture into round patties.
- Heat a pan and drizzle a little oil. Cook each patty for 3–4 minutes per side on medium flame.
- Serve warm with whole wheat buns, lettuce, tomato slices, and mint yogurt sauce.
Notes
You can air-fry the patties at 180°C for 12–15 minutes for an even lighter version. These patties freeze well for meal prep.
