
Chocolate Makhana
Chocolate Makhana is a healthy Indian snack made with roasted fox nuts, cocoa, jaggery, and a light drizzle of ghee. Perfect for guilt-free snacking.

Method
- Heat a pan on low flame and dry roast the makhana for 5 to 6 minutes until they turn crisp.
- Remove the makhana and keep aside. In the same pan, add ghee and let it melt.
- Add jaggery powder and water. Stir until the jaggery melts into a smooth syrup.
- Lower the flame and mix in the cocoa powder. Stir well to make a thick chocolate coating.
- Add roasted makhana back into the pan. Toss gently so each makhana gets coated well.
- Cook for 1 minute, switch off the flame, and let the makhana cool fully so the coating sets.
Notes
Store Chocolate Makhana in an airtight container for up to 1 week. It works well as a mid-meal snack and helps beat sweet cravings without excess sugar.
