
Homemade Sesame Milk
Healthy and nourishing homemade sesame milk made with white sesame seeds. Easy, plant-based and perfect for daily use.

- Rinse sesame seeds well under running water to remove dust.
- Soak the seeds in water for 3 to 4 hours. This helps with blending and digestion.
- Drain the water and add the soaked sesame seeds to a mixer jar.
- Add 1 cup of water and blend to a smooth paste.
- Add the remaining water and blend again for 30 to 40 seconds.
- Strain using a muslin cloth or fine strainer. Press well to extract all the milk.
- Stir in jaggery or honey and a pinch of cardamom powder, if using.
- Store in the refrigerator and consume within 2 days.
Notes
You can lightly roast the sesame seeds before soaking for a nuttier flavour. For thicker milk, reduce water to 2.5 cups.
