  • 2 tbsp dried rosehips crushed lightly for better flavour
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp honey optional, for sweetness

  • strainer
  • Tea cups

Method
 

  1. Add water and crushed rosehips to a saucepan and bring it to a boil.
  2. Reduce the flame and simmer for 5 to 6 minutes to release the flavour and nutrients.
  3. Switch off the heat and let it rest for 2 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea into cups and add honey if you prefer sweetness.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy the soothing Vitamin C-rich drink.

Notes

For a stronger flavour, simmer for an extra 2 minutes. You can also add a small piece of cinnamon in winter.
