
Healthy Indian Fish Curry

- Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn light golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
- Add tomatoes and cook until soft and the oil starts to separate.
- Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour water and let the curry come to a boil.
- Gently place the fish pieces into the curry. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Add garam masala, simmer for 2 minutes, and switch off the flame.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with rice or roti.
Notes
Use firm fish so it doesn’t break while cooking. Adjust spices based on your taste. For extra flavor, add a few drops of lemon before serving.
