  • 1 cup Seedless dates soft, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Mixed nuts almonds, cashews, walnuts chopped
  • 1/4 cup Rolled oats lightly roasted
  • 2 tbsp Flaxseeds roasted and crushed
  • 2 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp Ghee

Equipment

  • Heavy pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking tray or square tin
  • Parchment paper

Method
 

  1. Heat a pan and lightly roast the mixed nuts for 2 to 3 minutes. Keep aside.
  2. In the same pan, add ghee and chopped dates. Cook on low heat until the dates soften and turn pasty.
  3. Add roasted nuts, oats, flaxseeds, and chia seeds. Mix well until everything binds together.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a parchment-lined tray and press it firmly into an even layer.
  5. Let it cool for 20 minutes, then cut into bars and store in an airtight container.

Notes

You can add sesame seeds or puffed rice for extra crunch. Store the bars for up to one week.
