These are “Nidra” (sleep), “Brahmacharya” (celibacy or controlled behavior), and the uninterrupted flow of “Aahara” (food). Tamasic (Impure): Stale, fermented, or over-processed food, which creates conditions such as lethargy and confusion, for example, alcohol, and overly preserved food.
