Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated carrot fresh
  • 1/2 cup grated apple any sweet apple
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats lightly roasted
  • 3 tbsp jaggery powder adjust to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped almonds optional
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder optional but tastes good

Method
 

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add grated carrot. Cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
  2. Add grated apple and cook for 1–2 minutes until the raw smell reduces.
  3. Mix in jaggery and let it melt completely.
  4. Add roasted oats, almonds, and cinnamon. Mix well until the mixture thickens.
  5. Switch off the flame and let the mixture cool slightly.
  6. Take small portions and roll them into bite-sized balls.
  7. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.

Notes

You can add chia seeds or flax seeds to increase fiber further. If the mix feels dry, add 1–2 tsp warm water or more melted jaggery.
