
Healthy Homemade Garlic Bread
A simple, healthy and flavourful Indian-style garlic bread made with whole wheat bread, fresh garlic and herbs. Perfect for snacks or sides.

Method
- Mix softened butter, minced garlic, herbs, coriander and salt in a small bowl to make a smooth garlic spread.
- Spread the garlic mixture evenly on one side of each bread slice.
- To bake: Preheat oven to 180°C and bake for 8-10 minutes until crisp. To cook on tawa: Place bread on hot tawa, cover and cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes until edges turn golden.
- Slice and serve hot with soup or as a healthy evening snack.
Notes
You can add a light sprinkle of mozzarella for kids. Using whole wheat bread improves fibre and keeps the recipe healthier.
