
Healthy Gulab Jamun
A light and healthier Gulab Jamun made with whole wheat flour, milk powder, and jaggery syrup. Soft, flavourful, and perfect for guilt-free festive indulgence.

Method
- Add milk powder, whole wheat flour, and baking soda into a mixing bowl. Mix them well.
- Pour ghee and rub it into the dry mix until it becomes crumbly.
- Add milk little by little and form a soft, smooth dough. Do not knead too much.
- Divide the dough into small smooth balls. Make sure there are no cracks.
- Bake the balls at 180°C for 12 to 15 minutes or air fry until golden. Keep aside.
- For the syrup, heat water and jaggery until it dissolves. Add cardamom and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Let the syrup become warm. Add the baked jamuns and soak for at least 1 hour.
Notes
If the dough feels dry, add 1 to 2 teaspoons extra milk. If jamuns are too dense, rest the dough for 10 minutes before shaping.
