  • 2 cups Milk (preferably low-fat)
  • 1.5 tbsp Custard powder (vanilla)
  • 1.5 tbsp Sugar or jaggery powder Adjust to taste
  • 1 cup Mixed fruits Chopped apples, banana, pomegranate, grapes

Method
 

  1. Take 1/4 cup cold milk in a small bowl and mix custard powder until smooth.
  2. Heat the remaining milk in a saucepan on medium flame and add sugar.
  3. Once the milk becomes slightly hot, slowly pour in the custard mixture while whisking continuously.
  4. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the custard thickens. Turn off the flame and let it cool.
  5. Once cooled, add chopped fruits and mix gently.
  6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes for best taste and serve chilled.

Notes

Use seasonal fruits for best nutrition. Avoid citrus fruits like oranges as they may turn watery.
