  • 200 g boneless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp curd for marination
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 4 pieces whole wheat mini tortillas
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice for freshness

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix curd, turmeric, chilli powder, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste, and salt. Add chicken and coat well.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan. Cook the marinated chicken on medium heat for 7 to 8 minutes until soft and lightly browned.
  3. Warm the whole wheat tortillas on a tawa for a few seconds to soften.
  4. Fill each tortilla with cooked chicken, cabbage, onion, coriander, and lemon juice.
  5. Fold and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

For extra flavour, add a spoon of homemade salsa or hung curd dip. This keeps the tacos low calorie while enhancing taste.
