
Hibiscus Tea
A simple Indian-style hibiscus tea made with dried hibiscus petals. Refreshing, rich in antioxidants, and great for daily wellness.

Method
- Heat water in a saucepan on medium flame.
- Once it starts to boil, add dried hibiscus petals.
- Let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the water turns deep red.
- Turn off the flame and cover the lid. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain the tea into cups.
- Add honey or jaggery if you prefer sweetness, and finish with a slice of lemon.
Notes
You can serve this tea hot or chilled. For a summer drink, cool the tea and add ice. Avoid adding honey to very hot tea to retain nutrients.
