Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 300 g Chicken breast boneless
  • 1.5 tbsp Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp Black pepper freshly crushed for best taste
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Mixed herbs optional

Equipment

  • Grill pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs

Method

  1. Clean the chicken breast and pat it dry. Make small cuts so the marinade goes in well.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add lemon juice, black pepper, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, salt, olive oil, and herbs. Mix well.
  3. Coat the chicken evenly with the marinade. Keep it covered in the fridge for at least 2 hours for best flavor.
  4. Heat a grill pan on medium flame. Grease lightly with oil.
  5. Place the marinated chicken on the hot pan. Grill for 6–7 minutes on each side until golden and fully cooked.
  6. Remove from heat, rest for 2 minutes, and slice. Serve hot with a fresh salad or sautéed veggies.

Notes

For extra juiciness, avoid overcooking the chicken. Always rest the meat after grilling to keep it tender.
