- Heat a pan on low flame and dry roast the makhana for 3 to 4 minutes until crisp.
- Let the roasted makhana cool slightly, then crush them lightly with your hands.
- Whisk the curd in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and sugar to the curd. Mix well.
- Add the crushed makhana and mix gently.
- Garnish with chopped coriander and chill for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can add grated cucumber or pomegranate seeds for extra freshness. Use low-fat curd for a lighter version.
