- Add rolled oats to a bowl and rinse them once quickly to remove any powdery residue.
- Drain the oats and add them to a blender along with cold water.
- Blend on medium speed for 25 to 30 seconds. Do not over-blend or the milk can become slimy.
- Place a strainer or muslin cloth over a bowl and pour the blended mixture. Gently strain without pressing too hard.
- Add jaggery powder, vanilla, and salt. Mix well and store the oats milk in a clean bottle.
- Refrigerate and use within 3 days. Shake well before each use.
Notes
Use only cold water to avoid slimy texture. Do not over-blend. Best for smoothies, coffee, tea, and cooking.
