Method
- Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix gently so spices coat the seviyan evenly.
- Transfer the premix into an airtight jar. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 2 months.
- To cook: add 1 cup premix to a pan, pour 2 cups hot water, cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes on low flame.
- Fluff with a fork and serve hot.
Notes
You can add dried mint for extra aroma. If using fresh vegetables later, reduce water slightly.
