Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Jowar (Sorghum) flour fresh
  • 3/4 cup Jaggery grated
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp Almonds finely chopped

Equipment

  • heavy bottom pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a heavy-bottom pan and add jowar flour. Roast the flour on low flame for 5 to 7 minutes until it turns aromatic and light.
  2. Add the grated jaggery to the warm flour and mix gently. The heat will melt the jaggery and help it blend.
  3. Add cardamom powder and chopped almonds. Mix well to form a soft mixture.
  4. While the mixture is still warm, take small portions and shape them into round laddoos.
  5. Let the laddoos cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.

Notes

You can add more nuts or seeds for extra nutrition. Adjust jaggery based on sweetness preference. These laddoos keep well for 7–10 days.
