  • 200 g boneless chicken (cut into strips)
  • 1 tbsp curd for marination
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 nos whole wheat rotis or wraps fresh
  • 1/2 cup sliced onions
  • 1/2 cup sliced capsicum
  • 2 tbsp mint chutney or hung curd spread any healthy spread

Method
 

  1. Mix curd, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder, garam masala, and lemon juice in a bowl. Add chicken and coat well. Rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan. Add a few drops of oil and cook the marinated chicken on medium heat for 8-10 minutes until soft and lightly charred.
  3. Lightly sauté onions and capsicum in the same pan for 1-2 minutes to keep them crunchy.
  4. Warm the rotis. Spread mint chutney or hung curd, add cooked chicken, and top with veggies.
  5. Roll the wrap tightly and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crunch, add shredded cabbage or lettuce. You can also use multigrain rotis to boost fiber.
