  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • lemon juice (optional) few drops
  • honey (optional) as per taste

Method
 

  1. Heat 1 cup of water in a saucepan on medium flame.
  2. Add the grated ginger and let it simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Switch off the flame and allow it to rest for a minute so the flavor infuses well.
  4. Strain the ginger water into a cup.
  5. Add a few drops of lemon juice or honey if you prefer a mild flavor boost.
  6. Drink warm for best digestion benefits.

Notes

Drink on an empty stomach for better digestion and reduced bloating. Avoid adding honey to very hot water to preserve nutrients.
