- Dry roast the rolled oats in a pan on low flame for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly crisp. Let them cool.
- Blend the dates into a soft paste using a food processor.
- In a mixing bowl, add oats, date paste, chopped apples, chia seeds, cinnamon powder, and ghee.
- Mix everything well until the mixture comes together like a dough. If needed, mash lightly with your hands.
- Take small portions and roll them into bite-sized gems.
- Refrigerate for 20 minutes to firm up. Store in an airtight container for 3 days.
Notes
You can replace dates with jaggery. Add walnuts or almonds for extra crunch. Best consumed as a mid-morning or evening snack.
