  • 1 medium ripe avocado peeled and mashed
  • 1 cup curd (yogurt) slightly thick
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp black salt
  • 1/4 tsp regular salt adjust to taste
  • 1 pinch black pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Cut the avocado, remove the seed, scoop out the pulp, and mash it in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Whisk the curd until creamy and lump-free.
  3. Add mashed avocado, coriander, roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and black pepper.
  4. Mix everything gently until the raita turns creamy and well combined.
  5. Chill for 10 minutes and serve with paratha, pulao, biryani, or as a healthy dip.

Notes

Use a fully ripe avocado for the best texture. You can add grated cucumber or mint for extra freshness.
