  • 1 cup boiled shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp curd adds moisture
  • 6 slices whole wheat bread edges removed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for brushing
  • Salt as needed

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a baking tray lightly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add shredded chicken, onion, ginger-garlic paste, curd, chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala, cheese and salt. Mix well.
  3. Roll each bread slice gently with a rolling pin to make it thin.
  4. Place 1 to 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture on one side of the bread and roll it tightly.
  5. Brush each roll with a little olive oil and place them on the baking tray.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until crisp and golden.
  7. Serve hot with mint chutney or homemade yoghurt dip.

Notes

You can replace mozzarella with processed cheese or paneer if you prefer a lighter option. For extra flavour, sprinkle a little chaat masala on top before serving.
