Method
- Add besan, onions, tomatoes, coriander, green chilli, turmeric, red chilli powder, ajwain and salt to a bowl.
- Slowly pour water and whisk until you get a smooth, lump-free batter of medium pouring consistency.
- Heat a tawa on medium flame and lightly grease it with a few drops of oil.
- Pour a ladle of batter and spread it gently into a round cheela.
- Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the base turns golden, then flip and cook the other side.
- Serve hot with green chutney or curd for a healthy meal.
Notes
For extra nutrition, add grated carrots, spinach or capsicum. Use minimal oil to keep it light and healthy.
