Method
- Wash the guavas thoroughly. Cut them into small cubes or slices (peel optional).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the guava cubes, chopped green chilli (if using), chopped coriander and mint leaves.
- Sprinkle roasted cumin powder, black salt, red chilli powder over the guava mixture.
- Pour fresh lemon juice, then gently toss everything so the spices coat the guava evenly.
- Taste and adjust salt or spice if needed. Serve fresh as a tangy, healthy snack.
Notes
Best served immediately. If kept for later, guava may release water, making the chaat soggy. Use firm or slightly ripe guavas for crunch and freshness.
