  • 1 cup rolled oats use regular or quick oats
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter smooth, natural
  • 3 tbsp honey adjust sweetness
  • 2 tbsp chocolate protein powder any good-quality whey or plant protein
  • 1 tsp chia seeds optional for more fibre
  • 1 tbsp water or milk only if needed for binding

Method
 

  1. Add oats, cocoa powder, protein powder, and chia seeds to a mixing bowl.
  2. Add peanut butter and honey. Mix well using a spatula until the mixture holds together.
  3. If the mixture feels dry, add 1 tbsp water or milk to help bind.
  4. Shape into small bite-sized balls using your hands.
  5. Place them on a plate and refrigerate for 20 minutes to firm up.

Notes

Store these bites in an airtight container for up to 1 week in the fridge. They’re great as a pre-workout snack or for mid-evening cravings.
