  • 1 medium cucumber thinly sliced
  • 10 leaves fresh mint lightly crushed
  • 1 litre water chilled or room temperature
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional for extra freshness

Method
 

  1. Wash the cucumber and mint leaves well. Slice the cucumber thinly.
  2. Add cucumber slices and crushed mint leaves to a clean jug.
  3. Pour 1 litre of water into the jug and mix gently.
  4. Optional: Add lemon juice for a brighter taste.
  5. Let it sit for at least 10–15 minutes so the flavours release. Serve chilled.

Notes

You can refill the jug with water once more using the same cucumber and mint. Best consumed within the same day.
