Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Dates (seedless, finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Almonds (roughly chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Cashews (roughly chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Ghee Helps bind the ladoos
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder

Equipment

  • Non-stick pan
  • Mixer grinder
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Dry roast almonds and cashews on low heat for 2 minutes until lightly golden.
  2. Add chopped dates to the pan and mix well. The heat will soften the dates.
  3. Pour in ghee and continue mixing until the mixture forms a sticky lump.
  4. Switch off the flame and add cardamom powder. Let the mixture cool slightly.
  5. Grease your palms with a little ghee and roll small ladoos while the mixture is warm.
  6. Store the ladoos in an airtight container for up to one week.

Notes

You can add pistachios or walnuts for extra crunch. If dates are too dry, lightly warm them before mixing.
