- Add fennel seeds to a saucepan and pour in the water.
- Bring the water to a gentle boil on medium heat.
- Let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes so the flavour and nutrients release well.
- Turn off the heat and allow it to cool slightly.
- Strain into a glass and drink warm or at room temperature.
Notes
You can soak 1 tsp fennel seeds overnight in 1 cup water for a no-boil version. Drink on an empty stomach for best digestion benefits.
