Method
- Wash and chop the fresh fruits into bite-sized pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add soaked and slivered almonds, chopped walnuts, raisins and chopped pistachios into the bowl with fruits.
- Gently toss the mixture so that nuts and fruits combine evenly. If you like a little sweetness, drizzle honey or date syrup and mix lightly.
- Divide into two sachets or snack boxes. Serve fresh immediately or refrigerate for up to 2–3 hours before eating.
Notes
You can vary the fruits based on season — mangoes in summer, apple/papaya in other seasons. Avoid adding too much honey if serving children or diabetic clients. Nuts give good healthy fats and protein, fruits add vitamins and natural sugars.
