  • 2 raw bananas use firm green bananas
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil for shallow frying or air-frying

Equipment

  • Sharp knife or slicer
  • kadhai or frying pan
  • Slotted spoon
  • Paper towels

Method
 

  1. Peel the raw bananas and slice them into thin, even round pieces using a knife or slicer.
  2. Mix turmeric powder and salt in a bowl with 2 tbsp water. Toss the slices lightly in this mixture.
  3. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add banana slices in small batches.
  4. Cook on medium heat until the chips turn crisp and light golden. Flip occasionally for even cooking.
  5. Remove and spread on paper towels. Let them cool completely for the perfect crunch.
  6. Store in an airtight container and enjoy as a guilt-free snack.

Notes

For an even healthier version, air-fry the banana slices at 180°C for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.
