  • 2 medium ripe bananas preferably overripe for natural sweetness
  • 1.5 cups chilled milk use low-fat for a healthier version
  • 1 tbsp honey optional, adjust as per taste
  • 4 to 5 cubes ice
  • 1 tsp chia seeds or flax seeds optional for extra nutrition

Method
 

  1. Peel the bananas and add them to a blender jar.
  2. Pour in the chilled milk and add honey as per your taste.
  3. Add ice cubes and chia or flax seeds if you’re using them.
  4. Blend on high speed for 20 to 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

Use frozen banana slices for a thicker shake. You can also replace milk with almond milk or oat milk.
