Method
- Rinse almonds, cashews and pistachios. Soak them in warm water for about 30 minutes. If dates are hard, soak them too until soft.
- Drain the water from soaked nuts and dry fruits. Add them into a blender.
- Add pitted dates, raisins (if using), 1 cup of cold milk and cardamom powder into the blender.
- Blend everything into a smooth paste. If consistency is too thick, add remaining 1 cup milk.
- Add ice cubes if you like a chilled shake. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
Best consumed fresh. You can adjust quantity of dates or raisins for natural sweetness. For vegan version, use plant-based milk.
