Method
- Heat oil in a pan on low flame. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
- Add curry leaves and sauté for a few seconds until crisp.
- Add turmeric, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- Add puffed rice and toss gently for 2–3 minutes until they turn crisp again.
- Switch off the flame. Add chopped herbs and mix lightly.
- Add lemon juice if you like a slight tang. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
Notes
You can add roasted peanuts or chana dal for extra crunch and protein. Adjust spices to your taste.
