  • 1.5 cups boiled sweet corn fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 cup finely chopped tomato deseeded
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/4 tsp roasted jeera powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp fine sev optional for crunch
  • 1 green chilli finely chopped optional

Method
 

  1. Boil the sweet corn for 3 to 4 minutes until soft, then strain and let it cool slightly.
  2. Add corn to a mixing bowl along with onion, tomato, cucumber, and green chilli.
  3. Season with chaat masala, roasted jeera powder, and salt.
  4. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  5. Top with coriander and a light sprinkle of sev before serving.

Notes

Use steamed sprouts or boiled peanuts to increase protein. Avoid sev for a low-calorie version.
