  • 2 cups fresh jamun (black plums) washed and deseeded
  • 1 tbsp jaggery powder adjust to taste
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/4 tsp black salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice helps balance flavour

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Add washed and deseeded jamun to a blender.
  2. Add jaggery, black salt, lemon juice, and water.
  3. Blend on medium speed until smooth and pulpy.
  4. Strain the mixture using a fine strainer to remove any skin or residue.
  5. Pour into glasses and serve chilled.

Notes

You can skip jaggery if you prefer a low-sugar version. Jamun is naturally tangy and slightly sweet, so adjust water and sweetener to suit your taste.
