Method
- Add jowar flour, onions, coriander, green chilli paste, turmeric, cumin, and salt to a mixing bowl.
- Pour water slowly and whisk to make a smooth, lump-free batter. The consistency should be slightly thick but pourable.
- Heat a non-stick tawa and lightly grease it with oil.
- Pour a ladle of batter and spread gently into a medium-sized chilla.
- Cook on medium heat for 2 minutes until the edges lift. Flip and cook the other side until golden.
- Serve hot with green chutney or curd for a balanced meal.
Notes
You can add grated carrots or spinach for extra fiber and vitamins.
