- Heat water in a saucepan until it is hot but not boiling.
- Add matcha powder to a cup.
- Pour a small amount of hot water and whisk until smooth.
- Add the remaining water and whisk well until frothy.
- Mix in honey if you prefer light sweetness and serve warm.
Notes
For a creamier version, replace half of the water with warm almond or coconut milk.
