  • 250 grams Boneless chicken strips thinly sliced for faster cooking
  • 1 cup Bell peppers, sliced (mixed colours)
  • 1/2 cup Onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Curd acts as a tenderiser
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 3 Whole wheat rotis or tortillas for serving
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt as needed

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix curd, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, cumin, black pepper and salt.
  2. Add chicken strips and coat well. Let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add marinated chicken and cook on medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes until it turns golden.
  4. Add sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for 4 to 5 minutes until slightly soft but still crunchy.
  5. Warm whole wheat rotis or tortillas.
  6. Fill each roti with chicken and veggies. Roll and serve hot.

Notes

You can add hung curd dip, guacamole or fresh salad on the side for extra nutrition.
