Method
- Add whole wheat flour, grated and squeezed radish, coriander, green chilli, red chilli powder, turmeric, ajwain and salt to a mixing bowl.
- Mix everything well. The moisture from the radish will help form a soft dough. Add 1–2 tbsp water only if needed.
- Knead the dough for 2–3 minutes and rest it for 5 minutes.
- Divide the dough into two balls. Dust with flour and roll each into a medium-sized paratha.
- Heat a tawa and place the paratha on it. Cook until light golden spots appear.
- Apply a little oil or ghee on both sides and cook until crisp and evenly browned.
- Serve hot with curd or pickle.
Notes
Squeeze radish properly to avoid a sticky dough. You can add radish leaves for extra fiber and flavor.
