  • 1/2 cup Ragi flour
  • 1/2 cup Jowar flour
  • 1/2 cup Bajra flour
  • 1/4 cup Whole wheat flour Helps bind the dough
  • 1/2 tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Oil for softer rotis
  • 3/4 cup Warm water use as needed

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Rolling board and rolling pin
  • Tawa

Method
 

  1. Add all millet flours and whole wheat flour in a mixing bowl. Add salt and mix well.
  2. Pour warm water little by little and start kneading. Add oil and make a soft, smooth dough.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls. Dust with flour and roll each ball into a medium-sized roti.
  5. Heat a tawa on medium flame. Cook the roti on both sides until brown spots appear.
  6. Apply a little ghee if you like and serve hot.

Notes

You can add finely chopped spinach or methi to make the rotis even more nutritious.
