  • 200 g Paneer cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup Curd thick
  • 1 tbsp Besan
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 Onion sliced
  • 1 Capsicum sliced
  • 2 Whole wheat rotis fresh
  • 1 tbsp Oil for cooking
  • 2 tbsp Green chutney

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Tawa or non-stick pan
  • Tongs

Method
 

  1. Add curd, besan, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala and salt to a bowl. Mix well to make a smooth marinade.
  2. Add paneer strips, sliced onion and capsicum. Coat everything nicely. Rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a tawa with a little oil. Cook the marinated paneer and veggies on medium heat until golden and slightly charred.
  4. Warm the whole wheat rotis. Spread green chutney on each roti.
  5. Place the cooked paneer tikka mix in the center. Roll tightly and serve warm.

Notes

Use hung curd for best results. You can add cabbage or carrot for extra crunch. Great for lunchbox or quick dinner.
