  • 10 leaves Fresh mint leaves (pudina) or peppermint leaves
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Honey optional
  • 1 slice Lemon optional

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • strainer
  • Cup

Method
 

  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a saucepan on medium heat.
  2. Add fresh peppermint or pudina leaves to the boiling water.
  3. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the aroma comes out.
  4. Switch off the heat and let it rest for 1 minute.
  5. Strain the tea into a cup.
  6. Add honey or lemon if you prefer, and serve warm.

Notes

Great for digestion, bloating, and relaxation. Avoid honey if preparing for children under 1 year.
