  • 1 cup curd (dahi) whisked, chilled
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds fresh
  • 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/8 tsp black salt or regular salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander finely chopped

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl

Method

  1. Whisk the curd in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add pomegranate seeds, roasted cumin powder, and black salt.
  3. Mix gently so the curd stays light and the seeds don’t break.
  4. Garnish with chopped coriander and chill for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use chilled curd for best taste. You can add a pinch of chaat masala for extra flavour. Works well with parathas, biryani and simple dal-chawal.
