- In a mixing bowl, add mashed pumpkin, whole wheat flour, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, and oil.
- Mix gently and knead into a soft dough. Add a little water only if required, as pumpkin already has moisture.
- Rest the dough for 5 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal balls. Dust with flour and roll each ball into a medium-thick paratha.
- Heat a tawa. Place the rolled paratha on it and cook until golden spots appear.
- Apply a little ghee or oil, flip, and cook the other side until crisp.
- Serve warm with curd, pickle, or a light dal.
Notes
For extra flavor, add ajwain, ginger paste, or chopped coriander. Use soft, well-mashed pumpkin for best results.
