  • 1 cup Rava (semolina)
  • 1/2 cup Curd slightly whisked
  • 1/2 cup Water adjust as needed
  • 1/4 cup Onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Capsicum, finely chopped any color
  • 2 tbsp Carrot, grated
  • 1 tsp Green chilli, finely chopped optional
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Oil for cooking

Method
 

  1. Add rava, curd, water, turmeric, and salt in a bowl. Mix well and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Add chopped onion, capsicum, carrot, and green chilli to the batter. Mix to combine. Adjust water if the batter is too thick.
  3. Heat a non-stick tawa and lightly grease it with oil.
  4. Pour a ladle of batter and spread gently like a small pancake.
  5. Cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes until the base turns golden. Flip and cook the other side.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or curd.

Notes

You can add spinach, coriander, or grated beetroot to increase the nutrition value. Using curd makes the pancake soft and improves digestion.
