Method
- Heat a pan on medium flame and roast dalia until golden and fragrant. Let it cool.
- Grind the roasted dalia to a fine ladoo-like texture. Keep it slightly coarse for best results.
- Warm ghee in the same pan, add the ground dalia and roast for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame.
- Add sugar, cardamom, food color, and chopped nuts. Mix well.
- Sprinkle warm milk gradually and mix till the mixture starts binding.
- Shape small ladoos while the mixture is warm. Let them set for 5 minutes.
Notes
You can add jaggery powder instead of sugar for a healthier version. Store in an airtight container for 3 days.
